date for initial plastics consult!
Hey Guys, so I am beyond excited today as Igot my date for my initial plastics consult.
I am going to see him in london on 24th June at 11am to discuss TT, brachio and new tata's - my mum is coming with me as she is convinced that all plastic surgeons are waiting in the wings to carve up and disfigure her precious baby girl (who is 41 in August btw)!! He was recommended to me by my surgeon as soneone who specialises in wls patients so that makes me feel better pus the surgery would be performed in a hospital I am familiar with (had my gallbladder out and crap band fitted there lol). Mum and I were laughing at the prospect of me standing there in just my panties and the surgeon being able to roll up my boobies like an enchilada (Note to self - must wear pretty one's on the day not the "suck it all in " one;s lol)
I am so excited and today I received an offer on one of my properties that I am selling here in Fl too and looks like I will have a signed contract by the morning! Then all I have to do is get the house in Clermont sold and I will be going home in november to the Uk with my two yorkie girls!!
so I will update you all when I am in lodon and let you know how excruciatingly embarrassing it all was and whether he will do all 3 procedures at once - if not I think I am going to just have TT and brachio and save the girls for another time lol
So now its time for some tips from all the plastics vets on our board on protein loading before and after surgery, tips on recovery, pai meds and constipation and scar care!

Had a band in 2005 at 280lbs, had band removed and DS done on Jan 22nd 08 at 220lbs in Spain, now 135lbs and a size 4!! Happy as a Clam!!
Dontcha love the DS? It's the best tool around!!

Congrats on the pending house sale and your PS consult.
I up'd my protein to 200g for a month before surgery. I also picked up the Make Me Heal vitamins w/o Vit E in them for the 15 days before surgery. I also was taking Orenda Immune and O'Tropin for 3 weeks before and 2 months after surgery. I had perocets from my PCP and only used a few while I was in Mexico. Mostly my ears hurt. The rest of the LBL, BL, arms and small upper thigh lift wasn't really painful. The meds Dr S was giving me were enough to keep it managable. Pinning the ears back against the stitches for the facelift hurt more. I did take 3 on my travel day home I was 2 weeks out and my trip was 13 hrs, so it was a long day. I had wheelchair assistance at all the airports - this is necessary, you can't pack much and it makes it easier to get from point A through security and so on. I'm still trying to get between 125-150g of protein in and I'm over 4mo out. I had a textbook recovery. I was off for 8 weeks, but chocked that up to being old and having everything done at once. The epidural and twilight sedation was wonderful.

Thanks Chris, fortunately Iwon't have to worry about the travelling as I will be back living in the Uk then and my Mom will bring me home for the short ride from the hospital.
Thanks for the recommendations for the vites and increase in protein, I figured that would be a good thing, it makes us heal ourselves right?

Girl everything seems to be moving just the right way for you. Can't wait to have you back on terrafirma in Blighty. I was pricing a full body lift and can get it done in Malaysia for £10,000. My sister just had a mastectomy and reconstruction there and the care was incredible and the hospital cutting edge and luxurious. I of course will have to wait another 5 years before I can get the cash to splash but **** it my titties can be worn as a lap lap.
RIP Mickie aka Happychick. You will be missed deeply.

Malaysia sounds like a viable plan, not a bad price either. Glad it was a good experience for your sister and makes it less scary for you!
