BIG WOW!! Memorial Day Weekend FUN!!!

I am 8 months post op. Down 112lbs!

One wow was that I fit in a size 16W. BUT that's NOT the BIG WOW! I went to Somersplash Waterpark! I went down 2 huge slides and did the lazy river TWICE! Every year prior to this one I was over the weight limit for EVERYTHING and couldn't do the wave pool because of my knees. We we're all over the place. I picked, bought and wore in PUBLIC my first bathing suit! The best part was getting to enjoy the whole day with my kids. My son I had to watch from afar. His girlfriend was there,lol.

Also I took down a pool. Shoveled the sand up. Moved it to my back yard. Helped level the ground and shoveled the sand back out of the trailor. The pool is set up and half full of water.

Needless to say, I'm freakin LOVIN' my DS! Last summer I could barley MOVE, this is such a blessing! I look forward to waking up each and everyday. Wondering what the day holds in store for me. Getting a little teary eyed just thinking about it!!

I am so happy for you!! I so love reading everyones Happy stories, just hoping one day i will have similar wows. I have always wanted to visit a water park, but being over 400#, I wouldn't dream of it.

Ginger, your day will come. I waited and fought for 2 years to get the DS. I LIVED for these happy post op stories. OH got me though. The more I read here the more I wanted it. Can't wait to read your happy stories in the near future. Good luck dear and Thank You!!!!

There was no pics taken of me in a bathing suit, sorry. But I do post pics every month around the 15th. I will have to take the pics off my phone and show off me in the dressing room in those 16's though,lol
