Martina just called me and she did well with the surgery!

She said Dr. H removed a ton of scar tissue. He also said she was twisted up pretty bad and he straightened her insides out. She was groggy, so I didn't get details on exactly where the twisting was.  She was in the OR over 3 hours, so it was a pretty intense procedure.

Most importantly, she did not have to be converted to rny!!!! Woo Hoo! 

That would have been the worst of both worlds, a DS gas and BM and rny dumping and microscopic portions... whew! I know she is grateful he did not have to revise her.


I guess our collective prayers were answered in that regard.

So, let's keep the prayer circle rolling and continue with our well wishes that this time she will make a full recovery with no complications.

 Really happy to hear this!  I pray she has an uneventful recovery and is back to feeling well soon!
