AW'ing just because I can at almost 5 years out.
I bought a new mirror for my bedroom. I have not had a full-length mirror in a house I've lived in for four years, and it's so nice to finally have one. I used to have to stand on a chair to see what I looked like in something. My mom wanted me to send her a picture of the new mirror (they live 4.5 hours away and really enjoy the progress we've made on restoring DH's grandparents house) so I was upstairs taking some pics, and while I was snapping away, thought to myself, "Self, you don't look too half ass bad for an old broad of 50, in her yoga pants, without plastic surgery." I still can't believe, that despite my sometimes shameless eating style, that I have maintained the same weight for all these years.
Anyway, here's the mirror (and a pretty **** poor picture of me at approximately 122-125 lbs):

Hey Honey, you always blow me away at just how tiny you are!! Love those pants too, they fit you so well!! Your post got me thinking that I don't own a full length mirror either!Mmmm wonder if that is a hang up for alot of us from the old days before our DS!!
I might just have to remedy that and buy one this weekend!!

Had a band in 2005 at 280lbs, had band removed and DS done on Jan 22nd 08 at 220lbs in Spain, now 135lbs and a size 4!! Happy as a Clam!!

I had a full wall mirror in my old house downstate, pre-DS, and I HATED that thing. I still have a fear of two things, mirrors and scales, but it's taken my almost five years to actually look at myself in the mirror and say that I don't look half bad. It's a slow process for sure!
