I need some Vitalady anecdotes please!

I'm writing a little paper about a woman who makes a difference in the lives of others, namely Vitalady! Is anyone around who had health/nutrition issues and got help from her? Would you mind sharing your story with me? I promise to disguise all identifying info and all that jazz, of course.

Thanks in advance :-). Pardon the "urgent" marking, but this presentation is Monday and I'm, um, a little behind....

I don't have anything super fantabulous with Vitalady swooping in, cape waiving in the wind, but, she has helped me quite a bit!  I started out on the Vita4Life bariatric multi's, being a bit foolish, thinking, eh, maybe they will work for ME and I won't need the Vitalady plan.  Well, at 3 months out, my labs were fine.  By 6 months though?  EVERYTHING was slipping.  Not tanked, but noticeably slipping.  I switched over to Vitalady at 6 months postop.  My 9 month labs were pretty darn great, and I fully expect my 1 year labs to be fabulous thanks to her!  That's all I got...  I hope it helps.

Oh, I also love the personal service and special touches she provides.  Her tour is SO critical to paying it forward for us.  The rose in each package is a lovely touch.  Her staff is amazing.  Her endless research and FREE advice is priceless.  And her passion for her work and the bariatric community in general (both pre and postop) is unparalleled.

When I had my surgery everyone that I talked to were taking chewable ADEK's. I spent a fortune on those things and my D levels came up to a 14 in 6 months.  I found out about Vitalady and the proper forms of A and D and also the importance of K. (I have never had trouble with E).  It took a while but I finally got my D up to 75 (still working on it, lol) using her products and recommendations.  I shudder to think what my bones would be like without her. She has put all of my nutritionists to shame with her knowledge.

HTH,
Michele

Well, I don't have much to share since I'm a newly minted DSer and haven't had 6 month labs yet but...
As a pre-op I had low levels of Ferritin and Vitamin D. I asked her for her suggestions on how to raise my levels before surgery after pre-op labs in September. In 3 short months I got my Vitamin D from 28 (considered low) up to 108 (high!) and my Ferritin from if I recall correctly 22(borderline - Kaiser considers under 22 low) up to 60. IN THREE MONTHS.
I'm thrilled with those results because I know from all the vets' experience how difficult it is to raise levels after surgery.

Michelle spent time with me on the phone when I started having constipation issues. We added and took away and changed till I got it right. She is always patient and has to be one of the most caring and giving women I know.

Should there be a problem with an order she will go out of her way to make it right.

Personal service...you dont see that much any more.

i also LOVE the rose that gets tucked into every order!

Again, nothing AMAZING but she is wonderful, I had labs done prior to surgery and learned I was low on D and Protein. Sent her my labs (as requested by her) and she gave me advice about what to do in order to supplement PRIOR to surgery to get my numbers up before the surgery so I wouldn't run into further issues. I was able to take my Vitamin D from a 26 to a 96 in 6 months. When I sent her my labs to show the higher Vitamin D, she said it was enough to make her weep! I was so pleased that she is so willing to give her advice and support and will always appreciate her input.

Thanks and hope this helps, Kj
