Hormone Replacements, anyone?
The Climara Patch is plant based and contains the exact ingredients as the bio identical hormones. The difference is that with the Climara Patch the quality and quantity is regulated and is more consistent than with bio identicals which can vary, because they are compounded by different pharmacies and are mixed up along the way
But they are the SAME medicine
(Plant based instead of animal based or what not like prempro)
There are some other ones out there besides Climara that are also the same substance as bio identicals but I forgot the names
I am thinking about getting on bio identicals
I want to research a lot more on it before I make the jump
I really don't want to be on Any hormone replacement but I really need it due to my symptoms
I am hoping to get something very low dose
Is there anyone out there that is ON the bios and likes them?

Hi Kayla,
I'm really sorry to hear that your hormones are out of whack. I don't know much about the problem, but I have a link to a really good article that explains the differences between bioidentical and non-bioidentical hormones for HRT. While the article is geared towards women over 50, the information is still relevant, very well written, and the information comes from a very reliable source (the doctor interviewed for the article is from the Cleveland Clinic Center for Women's Health)
