Congrats, that is so exciting. I'm sure it will fly by.

I'm also hoping to have surgery with Kemmeter. Katie, from when you got the insurace approval, how long did it take for you to get a date? Also, how long did your insurance take to give you approval?
I'll be at the end of my 6 month waiting period June 22nd. I'm trying to figure out about when I'll be able to schedule.

I did not need insurance approval with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
When I had Priority health I had to go through the 6 month thing but decided to wait until open enrollment in January to get my BCBS.

I was put on a wait due to several factors, including my low Vit D. levels.
however, once everything was a go... I got my date fast... I got it today for about 5 weeks from now.

Good luck with everything... Kemmeter is a world class gastro surgeon!! good choice!

Thanks Katie. Priority Health is what I have, the 6 months seemed like it would take forever, but now I've only got 2 months to go. Glad to hear it doesn't take very long to get the surgery date. Good luck to you, wow 5 weeks is so close.
