Please remember I am PRE-OP .... This info may be helpful to those Pre-ops looking to up their D.

Nearly 3 weeks ago my Vit. D was at 24. I took 55,000 to 75,000 iu's of Gelcap D3 for 2 weeks and upped that number to 59....

WOOO HOOOO

Then I missed the phone call this afternoon with my surgery date.... of course.  There is always tomorrow.

Hurray! Are you able to edit your thread title to make that preop? (I can never remember if we can access titles.) Doesn't really matter, except that it might attract a few more preops :-).

I'm so glad it worked well. What kind of gelcap was this? An oil based product?

Let me see if I can do an edit on the post.. or possibly erase and do over.

The first ingredient is Vegetable oil (soy) so I am thinking so... It does not say anything on the label to determine if it is Oil based or not other than the ingredient list.

Yeah, that makes it oil based. No need to erase and do over. People will still see it :-).

Having nutrition deficiencies can fog up your thinking. So can steroid treatment, hypothyroidism, relentless infections, and stress. Trust me on this. I totally understand where you're coming from.

Good news on increasing your vitamin D levels. I bet you feel loads better. Thanks for sharing.

When you say GELCAPS, do you mean capsules? 2 pieces?

Or

SOFTGELS, footballs with oil inside?

She's pre-op, Michelle. Her title is in error.

Yep, I saw. Just wanted to straighten out the terminology.

If she says "caps", to me that is 2 pieces.

SOFTGELS contain liquid.
