In so much pain... gas pains feel like labor pains above belly button

Still trying to figure out what is giving me these awful gas pains/heartburn etc. Today I had no dairy so I dont think its that. Woke up and took my 2 Profferin Iron, waited a while and then had some bacon and a BA calcium chewy, later had 1 hot dog (no bread, nothing on it) with a BA calcium lozenger, waited a while and had 4 chicken nuggets and then recently took a batch of vitamins.

Now I am having those labor like pains above my belly button that hurt so bad. I feel gassy and my tummy is rumbling. Any ideas or suggestions? Is this gas pain related to my heartburn/indigestion/acid reflux possibly?

It literally feels like labor pains that come and go above my belly button. The pain is a few inches above my belly button and a few inches below my insicion scar. I am also having to pass gas and i can hear my stomach rumbling. I get this pain every so often and it usually last for hours no matter what I do. I am going to take some gas x right now but that usually doesnt do too much.

Does this sound like just gas pains? Have you had this happen? Any suggestions or ideas? This is so painful and I have no idea how to make it stop.

you need to call your dr.  severe pain around the belly button area can be a small bowel obstrution.  reflux/heartburn would  not be in that low  area-call your dr even if it after hours now in your time zone, describe your symptoms and ask what to do next, if you can't get through only you can decide if you need to go to the ER, but a SBO can be very dangerous...take care of yourself....

Its above my belly button and I have had this same exact pain and I get it about weekly. It actually feels like labor pains and I can feel my tummy rumbling and am having gas as well.

I wrote about it on the FB group and there are a few people who said it could be the chicken nuggests and that have had this same pain from gas.

A SBO doesnt have the same symptoms as gas has right? Thanks for all your help!

Read the labels on all those BA products you are using.  Are there "itols" in them?  Sugar alcohols make my stomach behave like you describe.

You'll do a lot better anyway by getting off those and onto VitaLady's plan.

Becky: I am on Vitaladys plan for the most part. I do take extra calcium and those chewies are made by BA as well as the lozenges and I also take extra Iron chewies by BA. Everything else comes from Vitalady.

I have no idea what is causing you this pain.  So i would definitely call the surgeon.  But you may want to eliminate sugar alcohols from  your diet and see if that helps after you get cleared by the surgeon.
