Which iron is potentially constipating?

Vitalady sells Carbonyl Iron and Polysaccharide Iron - which one is the potentially constipating one?

Because since I've added back Magnesium, albeit the citrate form, I'm loose with stools and going all farking day long again. I've been told I HAVE to take magnesium, so I am wondering if I add constipating iron if it will slow things down. It's not like I can't use more iron. I take 2 proferrin a day right now.

Unfortunately I do not think there is one answer to this question. Iron that works for some without constipation don't work for others.

Me personally, if I take tender iron I can pretty much count on never having a bm ever again for the rest of my life lol. I have had great luck with with proferrin, not an hint of constipation which i could NOT be happier about. Never through pre DS that with everyone saying I'll poop 400 times a day post op that my greatest concern would be avoiding constipation lol.

However some ppl have issues with proferrin and can only take poly iron.

There are also ppl who cannot take the poly and have to take the proferrin.

I think the proferrin is the one that works for people most often without constipation, but I could be wrong. Hopefully vitalady will see your question on here, and she can give you a better answer.

poly is more likely to constipate...but kinda expensive for a loose stool relief, especially on top of 2 proferrin, plus you'll need to take it away from calcium.

Adding more calcium is known to constipate too.

I already take 4 batches of calcium a day...they don't constipate me in the slightest.

I'm so sick of bathroom runs every hour!!
