Who takes Medicare/Medical in California?

I got someone messaging me who says her friend is dying from RNY complications and no doctor will touch her. She is on Medicare and Medical.

Can someone recommend a doctor? Obviously doesn't have to be a DS doctor. They claim Dr. Keshishian turned her down because he doesn't accept Medical. (That was the first doctor I thought of.) Only other doctor I know of is Rabkin, but he doesn't list what insurance he takes on his website.

Have her try Crookes.  In the past USC/Crookes took Medi-Cal/Medicare.  It's been a couple of years since I've known of someone using that to get their WLS so it's possible things have changed, but it's certainly worth a shot.

I do not know anything about Medical.

Dr. Keshishian is doing my revision next week on my Medicare Advantage insurance through Anthem BCBS.

Dr. Rabkin's office said he doesn't take Medicare-based plans because of the limits they place on the fees.
