Sigh. It is too late for me, since PMS has forced me to eat most of container of cookie dough for dinner already. I'll try this tomorrow when my sugar buzz is worn off.

And your fart hangover??      Poor thing.   I'm not a cookie dough fan, but I've been known to have a jelly belly orgy or three.

Iron gut - no farts whatsoever, so that's not always a good thing.

I tried several version of this today (yes, I needed more than one) and LOVE these.

I tried using coconut oil or natural peanut butter in place of the oil and different extracts instead of the vanilla, and they all rock. Thank you so much for posting this.

I'd heard that using coconut oil was really good.

Thank god I'm not the only one who does this - I like cake batter and cookie dough!  I do have some "farts" but nothing too bad, and I live alone so I only gas myself and it's worth it...  ha!

I am looking forward to trying this as a substitute. I especially want to give it a try with some protein powder. I'm always working on ways to up my protein intake. Thanks again Julie!

I made it with protein powder and peanut butter instead of the oil.  It is a little dry but absolutely yummy.  Next time I will add a little more cream.

Thanks!

Oh, I'm glad to hear that it turned out with protein powder.  I might have to go and make one right now.

What  kind/flavor of protein powder did you use Michele? I haven't had much luck with powders yet, but am still experimenting.  I want to try this recipe with a powder but will have to buy one. I'm currently powder-free - I gave away all the ones I'd bought that didn't agree with me and/or I couldn't stomach....  Maybe in a yummy recipe like this I'll be able to get some in!
