Pluck this one please 427lbs considering LapBand

I am so suprised at the # of people that think the band will "work" for them when the BMI is out of this world. I have tried to talk to some of the people I have come in contact but they seem to think that the DS is soooo out there. I just refer them to the websit. Nothing you can do for people that are born stupid

You know what I used to think?  Forget about the fact that I didn't know the DS existed, but I thought that the LapBand Road and the RNY road both lead to skinny-ness.  I knew the LapBand road would be longer and harder, but I still thought I'd get to my goal.  Maybe she thinks the way I did?

I dunno.  I learned my lesson (multiple surgeries later...)

I made htat same darn mistake.  Unfortunately live and learn.  Sure wish I could save some folks the same mistakes I did.
