Hello all...

I haven't been around much, but thought I would stop by to tell you all how it goes at 6.5mths out. I am doing great!!! I don't have any issues..except maybe staying away from the carb monster..LOL. I feel great and there is still many WOW's I am seeing. I recently went back home to Canada for 5 weeks and ate everything while there(not my regular eating habits). I still ended up losing weight even while going crazy on food I never get to eat here in Germany...how crazy is that? Still I realize this is not something I will be doing once I am in maintenance.
I was amazed to find how easy life has adjusted since surgery. I don't have a lot to say other than thanks to all that are on these boards. I did realize while not being on the boards, that there is nobody who can compare to a DSer who has been there. I will try to be on more regular, but alas life does tend to get in the way abit...

There is a poem I have written recently and Happychick (Mickie) thinks I should share with you all...I will post this separately.

Wow....I wouldn't recognize you from your first pic to the most recent. That's a big change in a short amount of time. Congratulations!!!
