Repost Request: Advice for Pre Ops with Links

Thanks Jazzbabe! I'm not but 20 months out and it's like I've forgotten all of this, especially since now I don't spend as much time on the forum as I did pre op and early post op. I do read the forum often, I just don't respond...I think because being in maintenance is a totally different ball game.

Hi All!

Thank you so much for providing vital information regarding the DS. I am in the first stages of getting the surgery completed. I have had my consultation with the surgeon, psychologist and nutrition and have had the request form sent to my insurance company. Right now I am awaiting the authorizaion from my insurance company (fingers crossed). I am hoping to hear from them by next week.
