What a scary situation to find yourself in.

It almost sounds like they did a VGB and an intestinal switch. Good luck, this sounds like serious malpractice if that is what they did.

Thanks all for your kindness and support.  I have heard from my gastros office...he will be travelling for a few weeks, then I will see him for the full report.

One of the reasons I had ruled out a lapband type thing is that I read they are contradicated in folks with autoimmune disease.  I have RA, psoriasis, asthma, Raynauds and Sjogrens.
