If you could give newbies just ONE piece of advice
Jenna I'm so glad you posted this because I thought I had done something wrong already! I'm barely more than a week out and my doctor said I was doing so well that he moved me to solids at 6 days out. I can eat 2 ham and cheese rollups at a sitting (over the course of about an hour). I'm definitely not full from one to three bites and now I'm feeling a bit better about that!

Shakes.
So damned sick of shakes at this point. GIMME MEAT.
My one thing: abdominal surgery is HELL if you're ticklish. I had four episodes in the hospital where someone was either prepping me for an abdominal needle jab or checking out my incisions where my uber-tickle reflex kicked in, causing my entire abdomen to seize painfully (pulling at the incision sites****il I could force myself to calm down so the professionals could do their thing.
Ye gods. I never thought being ticklish would be an issue like that, but OW.
