Fair Food. What's your fix?

Get in free, actually no gate, stage shows are free. Last year Jake Owens was there, Toby Keith, trace Adkins, Daryl worley, Martina McBride, this is just a few of the singers that's been on stage.
I have to say though since Katrina it's not as big as it was.

Unbelievable. Now I know our fair is just a tiny bitty thing. No headliners here, unless you count the local beauty queens and I don't. I think I need to get out into the real world and see me some all grown up fairs. Karen

KETTLE CORN.  OMG.

I've been seeing a lot of fresh fruit and smoothies at fairs around here lately.  Also pies, deep fried Oreos and Twinkies, arepas, frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and rolled in peanuts.

I'm hungry now...nom nom nom.

Deep fried cheese curds- A MN fair food staple.  I've always loved them, but now, I can eat them and not feel even the tiniest bit guilty!  Awesome.

I haven't been to a fair in ages.  This thread has guarantted that I am going this year.  I dont even know what an elephant ear is!  And all these fried things on a stick.  Oh my.  I'm drooling and most of this doesn't even sound that good!  LOL
