Dr. Anthone is in Omaha and is a respected, experienced, and, ahem, stable revision surgeon. Have you consulted with him at all? He is also known for being very flexible with insurance.

No but I will check into him and some of the other surgeons people have mentioned. Everyone is so helpful. Thank You!

Dr. Anthone does not revise RNY to DS anymore.

 When I was researching a revision surgeon in 05, Anthone told me he had quit doing them.  He did do a few after a few years but I guess he quit again.  He just feels they are too risky.  RNY to DS, I'm talking about.

Husted did mine with R. Rabkin assisting.. but I am so disturbed about Husted's moving all the time.. who the hell knows where my medical records are?  I have a copy, thank god but if I didn't......... I would be totally upset.  

The OP doesn't have a RNY.  S/he has a VBG, so Dr. Anthone still may take the revision case.

Never had anything get stuck.  I've never had a problem eating anything, even early out.  I did throw up once and that was from eating too many taco bell refried beans at 2.5 weeks out.  I feel like I can eat the same now as I did before surgery, only not as much.  (If I eat too many simple carbs I get gassy and stink, though.)
