Good grief, Maddie!

You can certainly wallow in some self-pity for a bit, you earned it. I can't believe all this is happening to you! Do what he says, and hopefully this will all clear up soon.

Leaks suck. Life sucks sometimes, but hang in there. I think the fact that your body has been through the wringer is keeping you from healing properly - you need more rest and nutrition, and yet you're in this vicious cycle where you can't get that. I'm sorry. This totally sucks.

Hang in there. Call me if you need anything this weekend, I'll come down. Have subaru, will travel.

Maddie,

You're such an inspiration.  Even while dealing with your body's issues you have been supportive and upbeat on here.  I'm not sure I could do it, I'd probably be complaining and whining to everyone.  Your grace and strength are very powerful and wonderful traits.

Here's wishing that the doctors finally figure out how to fix this for you.

Love, hugs and kisses!  Charrie
Laugh and smile; it make others wonder what you're up to!

Awww Maddie, sweetie, I am so sorry.     I sure hope they get you fixed up for good this time.   My sister's fistula is still leaking, just slightly, and it's been eleven months for her.

Maddie, I'm thinking about you always!  I hope, as sucky as it is that  you have to go through these extra measures, that this will be it, that all will FINALLY heal up and you can carry on with your life without worry and/or frustration.  It's not fair for such a wonderful person to have to deal with so much crap!  WTH!!!  Know that I'm swingin' for ya and if you need anything I'm just a phone call away!

Love ya lady!!

Sigh, we switched 2 days apart and I've of course followed your story. I find you to be one of the most determined, tolerant, patient people I have ever met. I guess we all "know" when we go in to do this that we have risks of complications but to actually have to live through them is a whole other story.  I honestly don't know how you do it.  I think you are an inspiration to those who have to go down that road less traveled. Thanks for always being open and sharing your journey with us.

I can't believe you're STILL going through all this. I really fervently hope that this procedure does the trick and you will have finally reached the end of all this nastiness.

I wish I could be there to give you a hug and support. I know this is a daunting experience for you. Your journey so far has been full of pot holes. But at least they are preparable ones. I believe that Dr.G is on the right path with you. Your body has been thru it and it's just hard to repair it's self when it's tired.

I know TPN and NPO is a ***** but it's also necessary for you to FINALLY move past this **** and see the good stuff which lies ahead for you.

Look at what you've accomplished so far. You've come a long way baby! And the journey isn't over yet.

Feel bad, get your ya-ya's out. Do whatever it takes to make it thru this hard time. Nothing lasts forever, although it may feel like it.
