Congrats on the upcoming baby! My whole family has August B-days. 4th, 20th, 22nd, and 27th. We love August, but I have to admit that July is a hot month to be 8 months pregnant! Best wishes. T

You know...I am so glad to have moved up from Atlanta to have an August baby.  Hopefully it will be a little cooler and a lot less humid up here!

I really really want to make it to August with this baby.  In my little family of 4, we have birthdays in September, November, December, and January, and my anniversary is October.  So I really want an August baby to keep with the trend.  I guess if s/he gets here in July, I'll just have to try again!
Started researching the DS in Dec 2008.  2 years and one baby later(my 3rd), I'm finally switched!

Welcome to NoVa and congrats on your impending arrival.  We would love for you to come to our local support group meeting (4/12/10):

Location:  Sully Governmental Center, James McDonnell Room
Address:  4900 Stonecroft Boulevard, Chantilly, VA  20151
Time and Day:  2nd Monday of the month, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Contact person:  Sally Myers, RD, CPT    703-859-6045,

Directions:  Take route 66 to Route 28 North.  Take the Westfield Blvd. West exit off Route 28 North (approximately 2 miles).  Make your first right on Stonecroft Blvd.  The Government Center will be on your immediate left.  Enter through the main doors in the front of the building, the room is to the right.

It is def. more RnY oriented.  But the Support Group Leader works hard to include us DS'ers.  The DS'ers usually meet for dinner @ 5pm at a nearby restaurant.  There's usually about 4 or 5 of us.  We would love for you to join us!

SW / BMI / SIZE:  312 / 49.5 / 26-28W         CW / BMI / SIZE:  159.1 / 25.1/ 10-12
I need to lose about 2 more pounds for a normal BMI .  I still seem to be slowly losing at over 2 yrs out...so may get there yet.

oooh, I'm glad Ann posted this! Yes, we do dinner at the Texas Roadhouse at 5pm in Chantilly, then head over to the support group meeting (well, usually...sometimes, we DSers get a bit sidetracked and stay too long at the restaurant gabbing and end up late to the meeting...). Glad you'll be bale to make it!!

Thanks!  Its so good to see you, mr. Skinny!  I hate that I won't be part of the TN/GA Houston team, but I've got lots of great DSer buddies up here, so I think I'll be okay :)
