I'm in DC! (well, NoVA), have Fed BCBS, new baby in August!

I just wanted to check in and say hi! I know many of you don't know me. I started plans to get the DS last year and life took a few unexpected turns and I put the DS on hold for a year.

I am in Alexandria and I can't wait to meet the DSers up here! The husband is settled into the new job and we have our Federal insurance in place...BCBS. AND we are expecting baby #3 in August. I am actually exactly pregnant with Georgina!

SO...I'm going to start stalking the boards again...I probably won't start making plans for the DS until the end of the year. I'm trying to be patient and get this whole baby thing out of the way first. I'm still undecided about surgeons, but I am thrilled to have my pick now that I have better insurance.

I've been lurking every now and again and I'm so happy for all my DS friends who look so damn amazing! I really can't wait to join you, but I'm glad I waited for the time to be right for me.

My last apartment was in Alexandria! Now I'm in Woodbridge. I think Shani (Star Jones) is tasked with re-scheduling our night out that got cancelled due to snow back in January or February.

Hey Zabs!
I was wondering about you the other day. Glad you've come back to hang with us, and congrats on #3 being on the way. My birthday is in August, and I'm just waiting to see if you or Georgina end up having your baby on my day.

I used to live in the DC area. If you're a coffee ***** you must go to Misha's, on S. Patrick St. just south of King St. in Old Town. They roast their own coffee, and it's awesome. But they never advertise, so you have to stumble across them somehow.

I do consider myself a coffee ***** I'll check it out when I'm in old town today.

I'm technically due August 16th, but I'm a c-section mommy, so it will be August 9 at the latest. And my second born only made it 38 weeks, so I am kind of doubting I'll even make it until then, but who knows!
