Ronda - thats what you get for missing the support group and lunch last weekend

But seriously - I am sorry this happened to you and I am really surprised it has not happened to me.   I have been eating like CRAP the past month or so.   I have not lost anything or gained anything so I figure it must be working but OH GOODNESS - the gas and bathroom issues stink with all the carbs I am taking in.

John, I'm sorry for having to miss the meeting. Something came up last minute. I knew you guys would be fine without me.

I have been adding carbs, good carbs , but not today. It was an eat crap day. I will make better choices today. Love ya, Talk sson.

Ronda, so sorry that this happened to you.  Lesson learned for you, but for me too.  I've never had anything like that happen, but this gives me reason to remember to listen to my body and not push things.  *hugs*

Oh I feel your pain!  I haven't had the DS yet but am very worried about this happening to me.  I have had enough "close calls" on my own!!!  All I have to say is "Thank God I'm a Country Girl!"  and my nearest neighbors live way far away!  lol

Gracie, let me tell you of one of the best perks of the DS for me.  As a pre-op I had IBS and many many close calls and even some mistakes.  But now, because of my DS, potty trips are much more regulated.  I go 2 or 3 times in the morning and then I'm good for the day.  It made life much easier!

 Gracie,

I'm going to second what Jenny said. I was very prone to diarrhea pre-op, since the DS it has gone the other direction. I have less gas too.

Very strange, but I'll take it.

I just wanted to say that since I've had my DS I don't have to wear a pad anymore when I go away from home.  After I had my hysterectomy I was so excited that I wouldn't have to wear the pads anymore but my IBS kept me in them.  So I was thrilled when I had my DS and no longer needed them.  I HAD IBS as a pre-op and I haven't had one problem with it since surgery.  It has been wonderful.  I don't think I have as much gas either.

I was so afraid that I would have an accident while I was on the plane coming home but that didn't happen either.  I don't think it happens as often as you might think.
