Ferritin up from 5 to 103......It is working.

I've had 3 iron infusions, so far , and it is up, up , up to 103. I really hope once I get done with 3 more infusions, It will stay up. Has anyone kept theirs up after infusions? Just wondering.

Sorry but I don't know much, what is iron infusions? I'm slight deficient in my iron right now.

Sounds great! I think I am on my way to iron infusions, so I am curious about keeping iron levels up afterwards as well.

Maybe Vitalady will chime in, on what and how much we need to take to keep it up. My hematologist said he would experiment with different pills as I come off of infusions. I'm a little "leary "of this as nothing has helped so far.

THat is amazing Ronda. My iron levels stayed up after I had a series of infusions. Not sure why it worked and stayed, but it did. I take tender and poly iron from Vitalady every night, but I haven't had any problems since my infusions.

Hi Ronda,
I've never had infusions, but took tender iron from vitalady and ferro-gels (rx) from hematologist when my ferritin dropped to 4. It went up to 100+ within 6 months and has stayed there for over a year.now take 2 tender iron a day and a ferro gels 3x a week.
