lap band to DS 4-wk post-op udate

Wow!  You're doing great so far!  

Around 4 weeks I was also going 3- 4 times in the mornings.  It slowly moved to 2-3 times and now it's 1-2 times in the mornings.  It's also changed from liquidy to soft and formed.  I guess it just takes a little time for us to adjust.

I quess we should change the initial post-op phase to sip,sip walk and adjust. 

You are right its alot of adjustments, more than I thought but worth it so far.

That is absolutely fantastic!!!!! You are rocking your DS. Keep up the good work. It looks like you are being vigilant in what you do and eat and making it work for you. That is so awesome.

I am really determined cause I just cannot take anymore failures.  I do however take the tips of the Vets on this board especailly Lori B and low carbing for the best benefits of my DS.

I want to maximize my window of loss.

I got so busy today and then needed a nap lol and forgot to PM my personal friends. 

My PCP reminded me today how sick I really was going into this and how far I have come.  She hugged me before I left and told me she was proud of me.  I am her first DS patient and she wants to know everything so I keep track of my feelings, pains, carb intake and reactions to food. 

If this is how its gonna be then WOW I cannot wait to see where I will be 6 months from now.
