I was really scared for you!  My husband had a bowel obstruction 9 years ago, and I almost lost him!  I thank the Lord you are okay!  I don't know if I would have let Dr. Chua touch me.  He seemed entirely too casual about your situation!  But, you did the right thing by getting yourself to the ER!  Please find an angel and get them your contact info!  You need the support!  Heal right now.  Who gives a flying flip about weight loss right now.  You could have died!  Let your body get strong.  Give it what it needs at this time.   It has been through a lot of trauma!  Be well!

Soooooooooooooo glad you are ok.   That potassium is scary.  I hope they put you on some.  Don't worry about weightloss right now.  I know I had a gastric leak and for the first month after that I didn't lose.  Being healthy is your main concern right now.  You will start to lose soon enough.
Please get your angel your contact information so she can support you!

I am so glad you are okay. Thanks for letting us know. Also, please let us know if you have decided on and connected with an angel or if you need to know who is willing able to be one. There are a lot of people here who want to connect and support.
