Considering a second sleeve
If you just lose 2-4 pounds a month by adjustment to your food and carb intake, you're going to be somewhere in 12 months, might as well be down.
I think fitday will help a lot. I used it everyday and I know I was eating more than 60g carbs easily a lot of the time. I think that was Elizabeth's original point that it's waaaaay easier to get too many carbs in if you feel like you're eating a lot. I sure can get a lot more food in now, but at 12 months out, I went through an emotional adjustment. Instead of thinking about how much I could get in, I started to concentrate on how LITTLE I could eat and be satisfied. I know with my 3oz stomach at 12 months I tried to restart shrinking it a little by just eating less and it did work. At around 12 months, I did go through a stall that was over a month or so, in any case, don't feel like your DS has stopped working, it will continue if you continue working it.
At the risk of repeating what others have said, you have to use this tool - it's not a free ride by any means. I still lost at 3 years out - and I still can lose if I adjust my carbs accordingly. I think they are just a lot easier to slide in than we think. Evil evil carbs!
Best to you,

Hey sweetie, long time no hear from. I'm so happy you posted.
I was terribly good and I think except for the occasional donut...I've been pretty dang good. However, yesterday I made all kinds of low carb foods to nibble on. I have made a vow to myslef to watch every carb...seriously. Eating less is also a goal for me. I must keep at it and pray the evil carbs stay at bay (with my help, of course).
I've been at this weight for almost two now three months that's why I wanted to look into a resleeve. I'm not sure Medicare will pay so in the interium, I'm going to get back to basics....I didn't think I'd strayed that far but maybe I have.
I hate being on this slippery slope and you of course are a true inspiration. I just hope I can do it...thanks for posting. It is so good to hear from you.

Hey B Boop! It's me, Sharon from SanAntonio. I was just wondering if maybe it's not the sleeve but the switch portion that may be the issue. I eat like a horse too and have been able to get to 169...166...169...you get the picture. I don't exercise either but I will again one day. I have been stalling I guess but like someone said before, I just need to watch my carbs. In your case though, I'm wondering if maybe the malabsorbtion aspect is the issue as opposed to the restriction...no?
