Nope, I haven't but I had a knee replacement a couple of years ago and I don't do anything that
will injur my knee.

I gotta figure out something else to do.

I know you hate exercise, and I was wondering if you had something like my mom does.  All the old ladies get together in the mornings during spring-summer and do water aerobics.  I have done it with them a few times and it's actually pretty fun... Do you have a community pool around you?  Even if you don't have a class you could get one going yourself - how fun would that be?!!

I know I am not in the exact same boat as you, but I have been struggling with the last 15 pounds I have to lose for months.  I am ready to admit that I am done losing, everone that had surgery around my timeframe is already at goal.  I increased my eating and lost some weight, but it seems to be creeping back up on me again.... Sometimes I wonder if I will ever get to my personal goal...

Hey switch sister =)  This girl is not at goal. I am down 159 lbs and still need to lose 35 lbs to hit my pre-plastics goal. My plastic surgeon wants me to lose 20 before surgery which is doable. I just wanted you to know that you are not alone! I have just started adding exercise in; with the nice weather I have started walking to/from work when the sun is shining, so that's 1-2 hours a day. As long as I can put down the chocolate I think the rest of my weight loss is doable. You can totally do it Kristi!!

I'll consider the pool.  It is just getting me there to do it...I'm SOOO lazy.

I read one of those motivational things once. I think it was Tony Robbins...
that said if you improve just 1% per day that you would improve 360% by the end of a year.
So I thought well if I walked one minute a day and increased it by another minute
each day that by the end of the year I would be walking 6 hours a day .

uhhhh that seems a  bit much.....on the other hand.....it might be easier than
another surgery.

Well, if you did it that way, you'd be walking a full hour by the end of two months, and that would be phenomenal!

I do think my age is a huge factor in this mix...Tony can keep his six hours a day...whew that is a lot.

Hi Betty,
Well, I stalled from Oct to the end of Dec... then lost 5lbs, then during the last 4mo lost another 5lbs.  Have 9-10lbs to go for a normal BMI, but it's very slow going.

I'm not sure how to help ya!  I'm in the same boat, but closer to goal but those 9-10lbs seem like a much bigger number, when the weight just hangs on.

Do we need to have a little 3way challenge?  Betty, Kristi & me?
