I know what you mean.  I get it all the time.  Why don't you eat more "healthy".  My wife even tries to reduce my fat intake still and she "knows" better.
GRRR.  I feel for ya.

I LIVE with the food police....drves me INSANE!  A 17 yr old *****peatedly tells me that I'm killing myself in spite of having the DS.  Too much FAT...she says...repeatedly and shakes her head repeatedly.  I remind her that I have to have fat and all the eating rules  for m and she says, "yeah well you're gonna die skinny with clogged arteries, don't get mad when I tell you I told you so."  Don't think she will ever get it and she lives with me....can't imagine people on the outside watching me.  lol

Hey, when you order your burgers (anyone) do you ever order w/o the bun?  I have thought about doing that cuz all my cheese gets stuck to the top of the bun.  :(  I like my cheese lol.

I order 5 burgers with no buns (just too filling for me).  Sometimes it gets a bit confusing for them but when I tell them I'll just throw out the bread and don't like to waste it; they understand.  Often, they put it in a breakfast container.  Give it a shot.

Oh girl, trust me...the proof is in the pudding. I lost all my weight eating daily lunches just like that! I got the "high fat is bad" speal for a while but once I lost all the weight and it's STAYING OFF, there's not a whole lot that anyone can say. They just sit and watch me eat in amazement (and jealousy). Trust me...your day is coming!
