Tabitha,

Thank goodness you finally got to come home. It is ironic how the hospital can actually make a problem worse-both physically and emotionally.

Your upbeat post in the face of all that struggle is really impressive to me.
Wishing you quick healing and a sealed final leak. Heal baby, HEAL!

Now, about your sweet little ****atoo. How sweet is that. I really didn't realize how affectionate they could be. Wow. I have 2 dogs...always had dogs. But, that is really sweet about the bird. My DH and I have considered getting a bird. But, with my daughter at her age, I want to wait till I have more to give in time and affection.

Take care.

Oh my God - I can't believe what you've been through.  I've never heard of a blood infection - did you get that from being in the hospital?  You poor thing.  So glad to hear your on the mend and home - I hope your recovery improves by leaps and bounds being surrounded by everything you love.  Take good care.

Thank good God you're doing better - at least you're home!!!  I sure hope everything continues to improve for you.  I must admit that reading posts like this scare me, in general, b/c what if I'm one of the 1% to die (I've never had surgery) & I'm a self-pay & don't want to go bankrupt!!!

Anyhow, I'm so glad to hear you're doing better.
