yep,  from what they told my family, that seems to be the case....  of course, it's all shrouded in the "don't sue us" information situation.  so,  I'll wait till I'm a little better, then sit and read all the reports, charts, etc.    Mary

OMG, Diana... you're hilarious...

Now, THAT's a T-shirt if I ever heard one... a GREAT answer to the "WLS is the easy way out" comment...

Mary, I am so sorry this happened to you and very glad they found the problem and you are on the mend.  Sounds like things got very dangerous for a while there.  I would think laying in bed would be exhausting right now, although a shower and washing your hair probably felt great; exhausting but great.  If you PM me your address, I have a lot of extra Unjury on hand, and can send you some with a great recipe that makes this actually taste like a Frappacino from Starbucks.  Plus, if you make it with lots of ice, it is kind of the consistency of a frosty, and that will feel so good on those sore intestines.  One shake has about 35 grams of protein, so if you can get in just three a day, you'll already be at a great protein level plus be getting in liquid so you don't become dehydrated.  I had no where near the problems you had, but I was a terrible barfing/frother and was able to keep these down pretty well.  I do know how it feels to not be able to eat and would be very happy if I can help you out.

In the meantime, gentle hugs and prayers that you get better quickly and with no further complications.

I'm glad you're home and getting better. I'm even happier the I.V's are gone for you. It's such a relief to get rid of those things.

Take care of yourself and be good to yourself. I'll be thinking of you.
