Absolutely the best odor eliminator
Okay, I'm the queen of gas - I admit it. A few months back, a nurse friend gave me a 2 oz. bottle of this stuff called "m9" made by Hollister. She said they use it at the hospital for ostomy patients and stuff and that it's really effective. I have kept it in my purse and kept forgetting that I have it. I've been using it lately, and yes, it is ABSOLUTELY the best odor elminator. I blew up my classroom with some pretty stinky farts on my lunch hour the other day and worried that I'd not be able to get rid of the "linger." This stuff cleared it right up. I even left my classroom for a few minutes and went back in and took a good "sniff" just to make sure, LOL.
Anyway, I googled it and ordered it on-line, although the name of the site I ordered it off of escapes me at the moment. It's $3.99 for a 2 oz bottle and it lasts forever. I ordered four bottles.

Did you get the unscented? The only other scented one I saw was apple. I don't think I would like that scent. Of course it would be better than a fart scent but I was just wondering which one you were using.
I haven't really needed it yet (I've had a few times that were due to eating something that I now know I need to stay away from...still learning) but I would like to have some on hand. I bought some Ozium and my hubby and my boys don't really like the way it smells. They say they would just rather smell a fart. LOL

I got the scented - it is a very mild apple scent, not strong at all. I should have ordered one of the unscented just to see if that works too.
I didn't have very stinky farts at all till I started eating more carbs to maintain my weight. I had a boat load of these fantastic lemon white chocolate chip cookies the other day at work, and MAN I thought I was going to explode.

Ozium does not seem to work very well on our DS farts and stool smells, IMHO ..
It does have one advantage though over what I have found to be my preferred "eliminator" spray, which is Medi-Aire (the lemon-scented variety I think works best) .. Medi-Aire is actually used even in morgues and funeral homes to "eliminate" the smells associated with dead bodies, so you know it's strong stuff, btw ..
The advantage of Ozium is that it is "hydrolitizing" (sp. ?) in nature ... meaning that it actually dissolves into the air in particles as fine as smoke, for want of a better way of describing it, just as our farts and stool smells do ..
The Medi-Aire is only a pump mist, by contrast .. Even though it does spread somewhat throughout the air in a room, it doesn't do that as effectively as Ozium does
.. You can tell the difference if you spray Medi-Aire with one hand while keeping your other hand under the bottle and in front of it -- a lot of the spray just falls down in the air onto your hand ..
(that doesn't happen when you spray Ozium) I think if Medi-Aire would ever develop a hydrol. form of their spray, it might be just the perfect combo ..
The downside of that form, though, is the noisier "sprishhhh" sound the bottle would make when you spray it, like Ozium does
, vs. the much quieter (and discrete) spritz sound of the mist spray of Medi-Aire ..

Have you tried drinking the Danactive? I used to have horrible gas and real smelly poops until this stuff. While I was in Ireland this summer, every morning my friend gave me an Actimel (the European version of Danactive) with my breakfast and all of a sudden, no farts, no smelly poops! I take it 3-4 times a week (though it should be taken daily) and I have not had any problems with smell at all. I do admit over Thanksgiving when I WAY over-did the carbs (pasta, pasta, potatos and more potatos) I did have one hellofa stinky morning, but on normal days, i could almost fart in a room of strangers and no one would know lol!
