Considering DS

Hi Lisa,

Glad to see your post and that you are seeking the DS.   I can't offer any help, but I wanted you to know that I was seriously considering the VSG at one time and was reading that board a lot before and after you had your VSG.   I finally decided that the DS would be best for me long term for many reasons; it was also covered by my insurance where the VSG was not. 

I hope you find a surgeon relatively close to your area and this works out for you very soon.  We are here to help and support you.

You're going to have to travel. Someone around here has a list of surgeons who are known DS docs who take Medicare. You might get that info easier if you post with Medicare in your subject line.
