An OH Petition for DIana Cox

ObesityHelp-  Diana Cox is an extremely knowledgeable and forthright Phd, JD and wls DS patient.  She also does not mince words.  She was a tremendous asset to the DS community here and has been sorely missed.  While you are the owners and moderators of this forum, to some extent the removal of her membership was an extraordinarily harsh punishment for her perceived offenses.  She does more good than and extending an olive branch would show OH to be the helping community that it aspires to be.   Please consider this petition as a request for her immediate reinstatement.  We would all be eternally grateful if she would consider rejoining us with her wit and wisdom.  It takes all the voices to make a community.  Please silence hers no longer.   Kimmer

I am not a DS'er, but I enjoy reading the boards of all options. I am sure many of you have gone to the RNY site? Even on the main board, many posters have given valuable, if not lifesaving advise. I think she should come back as well, but what troubles me is that OH is not responding... not in any way... are they out there? or are they secure in knowing that she is gone and there will be no further "issues"? Please MODERATORS/OH Powers that be.. I believe this deserves a response!

Please add my name to the list as well.  Diana has so much to give to the DS community.  It seems a shame to continue this ban when so many people want and need her expertise.   As I heard on TV today in the words of Rodney King:  " Can't we all just get along?" It's time to let bygones be bygones, everybody deserves a second chance, don't they? Please bring back Diana. TinaP. DS/11-17-03

I could care less about the RNY vs DS vs LAPBAND silliness, etc.  I am not comfortable with the seemingly capricous use of moderation and banning that occurs.  Count me as the odd man out, but I much prefer a wide open discussion than a make-believe, artificial world where everyone pretends to agree.  Count me in for her rehabilition (as they would have called in the former Soviet Union).  Let her back in. Add me to the list! Diana was a very helpful influence and resource to me when I was agonizing over my decisions regarding WLS. I have also had the great good fortune to meet her live and in person, and she is truly a fantastic, intelligent, kind and dedicated person - just as you would expect from her postings. And when it comes to understanding and getting approval from insurance companies, she's the best. There are many people on the main message board who could benefit from her input, not just us DS'ers.    So moderators, and I know you're out there, please take a good look at the outpouring of affection and support for Diana, and let her come back.  She is greatly missed. I hear what you're saying, and totally agree. but something I'm more curious about... from hearing the few things I did about her side (no details, just basics).... would she even WANT to come back?
