Topic: Happy to report my new low A1c
For the first time ever, my A1c at my 3 mos labs was 6.1. My Dr. was very happy. Me too. My A1c's have always been in the high 7's or 8's. I am very happy about this.
I had posted before about my blood sugars dropping to really low, but now in the last week I am getting some high numbers. Blood sugars are really sporatic. I have been fighting them my whole life and hope that I can get these babies leveled out to norm with my WLS.

Topic: A1C Levels QUESTION PLEASE HELP
So I am 6 months out from Gastric Sleeve. I have lost 72 pounds and recently had my 6 month labs checked. I have never had a high A1C level. Never had any problems but recently my A1C level was 6.0. They said that I was borderline! WTH. I am super confused did anyone ever have that happen?

Hey everyone its been a while but I am having some issues that I don't know if others have exe\perienced. Lately I have been having bloodsugar issues : what I mean is my sugar levels ahve been all over the place sometimes low like 70, sometimes extreemely high like 215, they never were that high even before I was diagnosed as diabetic. Is this unstable blood sugar or what? Is there anything I can do to get it to stablize? I have lost my health insurance and still looking for work and the blood work the dr wants me to do will cost 1500 tp 2500 dollars plus 250 to walk into his office,
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have been on Levemir for over a year now. I have not noticed any hair loss since starting on it.

Topic: Insulin Pump Supplies- what do I do with all of them?
I use a Medtronic minimed insulin pump and have a TON of extra supplies. Anyone know of any places that do buy backs or where I could sell the sealed supplies? It would be a crime for all these extra supplies to expire or get thrown away when people out there could use them.
