I'm new to this message b...

I'm new to this message board. Am 56 with Type II diabetes. Diagnosed with it over 20 years ago. Have been on oral medications for it approx. 10 years. My Dr. just started me on Byetta - 2 injections a day. Does anyone else take this? How long does the nausea, dizziness, etc. last - I couldn't even teach my classes the other day I felt so wierd. It's bringing my blood sugars down and my weight! I'm pre-WLS and hopefully will be cleared by my internist in 2 weeks to have the surgery. Would really love to hear from others who have or are taking this medicine! Any advise to help the nausea?
