Sugars up this morning!!

I have never posted to this board before, but figured I needed to. I had surgery 5 months ago, down 68 lbs and was taken off insulin (unless it went above 200 then had sliding scale) after surgery. I have not taken any in months, until this morning, it was 224! I was in shock. My diet hasnt changed, I even exercised last night which is a new experience for me, lol. I do go see dr & nut on Thursday, but was wondering if this has happened to anyone. I also take 1 glipizide at bfast and supper. Thanks, Sue

I had surgery 2 months ago and was taken off ALL med's for sugar. THen I went to the doctor 3 weeks ago. SUgar is BELOW normal. Well, the past 2 weeks it has been between 200 and last night 300. What is going on? I know this is an old post, but what did your doctor tell you and how are you now? Lisa
