very worried
Well after a fall out with the wish center , I finally am looking to get my laprascopic bypass done sometime next week im told at virginia mason in seattle, as long as my H-pilory (however you spell it lol) test comes back ok. But I was told that my BN levels were low so I was at increased risk for serious complications during surgery including death, the idea of this surgery was to become healthier and Im going to go thru with it anyways, however Im very nervous. Today I wiegh 407lbs thats 46 less than I wieghed 3 months ago, and all Ive done is stop drinking diet soda, I am a firm believer that aspartame is poison, since Ive stopped using products containing aspartame my bloodpressure has returned to almost normal for my age. I no longer experience painful diabetic neuropathy, my tremors are gone, and in general I feel better, and no longer experience symptoms from congestive heart failure which I was diagnosed with early this year. I used to think all that aspartame info was simply nonsense, but now I know better from my own experience. Anyways hopefully someone will read this and maybe see if it could be helpful to them to stop using aspartame. I hope some of you will pray for me as I undergo surgery in fear for my life, and pray god will give me the strength to not fall apart mentally and emotionally leading up to my surgery. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
Hi Tom,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope that you can feel some comfort in knowing that there are people out here sending love and good thoughts your way. Do you have a good support system? I hope that you do. If you don't have one out there, hopefully you can come here to get a spirit lift when you need it. This place is full of wonderful caring people, and I am so glad we have that. Take gentle care, and please keep us posted.- Shelley C
My thoughts and prayers will be with you. I too found nuti-sweet a big problem in my life - causing neurological problems, migraines, dizziness, etc. Being a type 1 diabetic for 33 years, I have no choice but to use some kind of sugar substitute. Thank god for Splenda.
I will be looking forward to your posts to see how you do.
Hugs and prayers,
Nancy K
Thanks for the support guys it really does help. However Im soooooooo nervous, my surgery is friday (aug 26) at 8:30am Im told I will probably be in surgery for 2 1/2 hours, man that seems like a long time, and Im told to be at the hospital by 6:30am , its about an hour away from home and I'll have to get through morning rush hour traffic in downtown seattle to get there, so I'll probably have to get up around 3:30am and leave by 4:30am thats going to be 5 hours of hell on my nerves until they start surgery, I am very excited but also very nervous. I hope I can sleep thursday night. Thanks again everyone I'll post again when I return home.
