HELP MY DIABETES IS NOT UNDER CONTROL!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone i am posting this question for my mother she is a diabetes type 1 i believe she has been diabetic for the past 10 yrs i think. She has done all her testing and everything for wls and now she is just waiting for her dr. to submit her paperwork to the insurance company her drs name is Dr. Slotman in cherryhill. but he tells her that becuase her diabetes is not under control that he believes that she is going to have a hard time getting approved i would like to know if anyone has had the same problem and what do they mean by having it under control, also they say she has really bad anemia and that may be a problem also if anyone has had any problems of the such please let me know what you did to get past it. thanks alot tyshea
