No insulin

I had my surgery January 2003. I have not had any insulin since surgery. In fact I have occasional low blood sugars. My fasting sugar is normal and my 3 month average is normal with a Ghb of 5.8. My physician said the diabetes is "cured." I am still checking my sugar occasionally, but I will believe the "cure "maybe one day.
