did metformin make you sick

I never had a problem with metformin.

I've been on metformin/glucophage 4 separate times over the years and each time it's made me have spontaneous diarrhea for a long period of time. This time I saw a new endocrinologist and he prescribed it in liquid form called Rio Met. I have had no problems with it. The box says it is cherry flavor, well cherries don't taste like that! But I chase it down with some water and I can tolerate it. No stomach problems from it. I can't wait for WLS and maybe the end of diabetes and the other multiple medications I'm on besides Lantus insulin will be a thing of the past. Good luck to you. Stephanie
