Anyway, did he give s epcific REASON? I know plenty of women who have had babies at 35+, plenty who have had babies after various WLS procedures, and some who have had babies after a TT. Unless there's something specific he's concerned about, I'm not sure what the issue is. I would be sure to get in with an OB practice that can monitor high-risk patients closely, but other than that, I would say...congratulations!

I say your doctor doesn't know what he is talking about. My doctor cleared me to start trying to have a child after one year once I stop losing. I'm now 6 weeks pregnant and doing great so far. You may want to find another doctor that is more experience with dealing with women who had weight loss surgery.
