Struggling with Blood sugar levels

yeah - both of those will cause dizziness, and sugar issues. Hope you get to feeling better soon.  sure is no fun either way you look at it. Keep on sipping. I had a hard time with water, what I found was the icy cold teh better. Now some can't do that because cold makes them cramp - or so my dr said. but icy cold went down and didn't hurt. So play with temps - might find something that works for you.

I am new and still researching on what type of WLS I want, but the 1 consult I had with a surgeon said I would be in instant remission of my diabetes if I had the RNY. I don't know if it is because I only take pills for my diabetes, or because I have only had diabetes since about 2004. For those of you who have had the RNY, and your diabetes came back, are you all type 2? And how long had you had diabetes before you had the RNY surg? Any info would be appriciated!

 I am not a dr so i can only tell you what i was told .. I am preop for rny i am type 2 diabetis which is one of the main reasons i am going to do this surgery to improve my health and take my life back . i Take 5 insulin in a day . when i started thepreop diet both my husband and i are doing it we both have thad a hard time regulating our sugars husband is only on pills has began to cut his pills in half and cut down on the dose, Dr told us both within 3 months we would most likely be off our meds . We both have been dibetic since 2005 . The reason blood sugar reacts is not clearly known to dr but he did tell us that out of all the wls rny is the one that diabetis improves the most to.
