decrease in insulin

i am two weeks out from lap band and have dropped my insulin from over 100 units to around 40 a day. I didn't expect it to happen so fast.

That's great news, Melanie! It gives me so much hope to get off my insulin. I'm only using 30 units, but am so tied of sticking myself every night.

I'm 6 months out and still using about 40 daily when I was using about 130ish before surgery. It's a good thing.

Type 1 diabetic for 25 years - pumping for 12 years.
