6 months out, normal blood sugars

My blood sugar was 113 this morning, which made me post here today. I was 6 months out Jan 14. I was taking a boat load of meds, including 2000 mg of metformin, actos,lantus and regular insulin pre surgery. Now I take nothing. I've lost about 100 lbs. I feel so much better without all those meds.

113 fasting? That's a great improvement, but not considered "normal," still "impaired." Congrats on getting off all the meds - isn't it so freeing?!

That's awesome, Joanna. It's got to be great not having to take anything anymore. Has your doctor said if you still have the Type 2 or not? Just curious.
