Need Documentation X Post
I have had an insurance appeal hearing this morning where the UHC doc said he has not heard or seen any documentation regarding WLS affecting diabetes. Duh, I know.
The panel agreed to let me submit any documentation by this evening. Please send me any links you have, especially re VSG and diabetes. I don't want to leave out a thing.

I have a lot of info in my profile (articles and studies), but most of them point to the DS as being the best WLS for resolving type 2 diabetes. I have not seen anything that shows the VSG as being more successful for diabetes than the DS or even the RNY.
