I know that the best remission rate for diabetes is with the switch and also the RNY but I just wonder if there's anyone on the board who is diabetc, had the lapband, and also went into remission?

Thanks,
Cassie

Yes, the band can help some people. If your diabetes is highly weight-dependent (meaning if you lose weight, your condition improves, and vice versa), the band may help as long as you keep the weight off.
