My new guilty pleasure!!!
Oh my, have I found a great new treat! The best part is....it's totally fine and allowed! YaY
I'm sure many of you have already tried this, but....at less than 2 months out, I am just discovering...maybe some of you are as well, so enjoy....=)
I have recently loved having a mug of Swiss Miss Sugar Free Hot Chocolate at night, or sometimes in the late afternoon. I love it because it is nice and warm--it's been so cold here--and it is sweet, so it satisfies my want for something.
So, tonight my dear husband made me a cup(he's so sweet) and I added something great...some of the Hazelnut Davinci Sugar Free Syrup!
For anybody not familiar with Davinci's--in 2 Tbsp there are 0 Cal, 0 Fat, 0 Carbs, 0 Sugars!! It is sweetened with Splenda--and this flavor actually hasreal hazelnuts in it! Yes, 0 Cal and 0 Carbs....I know, I know....but how does it taste????
OH MY GOD!!!!!!! This is awesome! Who needs Starbucks or sugar or any other thing that is bad for me! This is sooooo good! LOL Ok, I'm done now...::deep breath::
Next time--tomorrow probably, I will try the other one I have--raspberry....yummmmmm
But for now, I am still in ChocoHazelnut Heaven!!!! This stuff is definately worth the $8 a bottle! LOL
Hope some of you will enjoy it too! =) Yummmmm

Hiya!
I don't get those syrups in the regular store. I have to get them at a specialty store called the Diet Shop. (www.dietshop.biz) On the website, they only have a few listed, but maybe if you called, they might be able to tell you what other flavors they have. Or, some people have said they find it in Marshalls or TJMaXX. You could also try www.davincigourmet.com This is the actual company website and they have TONS of flavors...just make sure you choose the sugar free because they do make regular, also.
Hope you can get them, they are great!

I've heard others say they find the DaVinci syrups at stores like Marshall's and TJMax. Sounds weird, but they're out there! Also, if you go to Starbucks, they will sometimes let you buy a bottle from them (they either carry the sugar free DaVinci or sugar free Torani syrups--I forget which brand).
I started out with hot cocoa and then someone else posted about making your protein drink hot. So, I take one scoop of my chocolate protein (26 g) then 6-8 oz skim milk (more protein) and then I add either hazelnut or peppermint. If you don't have peppermint syrup, you can get a package of SF starlight mints at the store and just pop one in your cup, It melts.
OMG, talk about good. It's been a really good and easy way for me to get my protein in everyday.

Thats great, Nina!
I don't really use protein powder--I'm not really a fan and my doc recommends that we get our protein from food, so I try to do that. It doesn't always work, so at the end of the day, if I haven't gotten in my protein, I will have a protein bar or one of my pre-mixed Atkins shakes.
But, I am glad the scoops work for you!
We've all got to do what works for us! =)
Hugs, Heather

You can make some great stuff with the sugar free Torani also. You can get them at Bevmo, Smart and Final and Starbucks. There are lots of sugar free flavors, I have vanilla, caramel, strawberry, and chocolate. I saw Hazel nut and several other at the store but had to stop buying because I ran out of counter space. You can mix them with so many thing, plain yogurt, coffee, oatmeal, protein powder and SF jello.
