insurance denied me

Called my insurance company today.  They denied coverage.  Told me doesn't matter if it is medicaly nessacery(sp), anything weight related was excluded from my policy.  So I will start looking at other ways to help with the finacial part of this.  Please excuse my misspelled words.

  Hi Wendygail, I was just denied by my insurance for wls.  I feel a bit lost right now and confused and down at the same time. My pcp told me since I'm losing weight fast I could probably lose the extra 50 lbs in order for him to take me off the wls. I just started a diet profile with dr and lost 13 lbs already. My weight scale is b/w 140-155 lbs. If i lost my 50 lbs I will be in the 240's.  Do you have this same problem. Because there may be a solution out there for you.  If you don't mind me asking, do you weight alot that requires so my the wls.   I just feel confused right now and i'm trying to find a solution so I'm just blabbing through out the forum. Did you try to get a lawyer who fights for the rights of the obese and can help you win an appeal to get the WLS you desire? There is a link here to the lawyers. Check out all the links and see where they take you. One might be the one to help you out. I am hoping by now that you have advanced past the lawyer and are ready for surgery.
