Marti O is on the bench!
Marti is officially on the loser's bench! I heard from Marti's daughter. She got back to her room late Tue afternoon. Doc said everything went fine. She squeezed her husband's hand and smiled at him. She is very nauseous and groggy. She is not feeling well enough to walk for now (as most of you know, they try to get you up walking the 1st night). She should be feeling better today and hopefully be able to get up and walk around. They have been monitoring her blood sugars and she has had to have some insulin, but she seems to be doing pretty well. I will see her tonight if she's up for visitors. I'll keep you posted.
